Last week, I addressed the topic of rest. Many of us are not skilled at balancing work and rest, or we don’t really understand what gives rest to our soul. (Hint: it’s not leisure!) I thought I would pass along a few resources which might provide wisdom and encouragement to find rest for your soul.

• A great book on the need to care for your soul, Soul Custody by Stephen Smith:
• One of the primary books I have been using in our study of Moses was written by Ruth Haley Barton. In this interview titled Invitation to Silence & Solitude, she talks about the need for solitude and silence. It’s a great conversation.
