Here are some resources I have found helpful in strengthening my mind and causing me to grow. I hope they are helpful for you as well. 

1. The Comfort Crisis by Michael Easter

“We are living progressively sheltered, sterile, temperature-controlled, overfed, underchallenged, safety-netted lives.” Easter takes you on his journey into the Alaskan wilderness and explains how we must become comfortable with discomfort in order to grow.

2. The Place We Find Ourselves podcast by Adam Young

Recently, I gave a sermon on the topic of forgiveness; Young’s two podcasts on the topic were very helpful.

3. Build the Life You Want by Arthur Brooks

I haven’t read the book, but I did enjoy listening to this interview with Hugh Hewitt.

4. The Most Important Podcast Parents Will Ever Hear

This is an interview by Hugh Hewitt and Jonathan Haidt about cell phones and other technology which are stunting the maturing of our children. Excellent!
