Redeem Your Time

Redeem Your Time

Ancient Romans created our 12 month calendar. They named the month of January after the two-faced god Janus, who could look into the future and also look into the past. Janus was known as the god of beginnings or transitions, a perfect fit for January because it is the month where we look back and look forward. January often represents the month of new beginnings or New Year’s resolutions!

This week in Iron Leadership we will be taking a look at the chapter titled, “Redeem Your Time”. The phrase comes from the Apostle Paul’s exhortation to the church in Ephesus, “See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:15-16. As you look ahead to the new year, reflect on the past year, consider a new beginning, and work toward redeeming your time, perhaps some of the resources below will give definition or direction to your thinking.
